We are a home run rescue in Selhurst, SE25 set up to help rodents in need of rescue space. We specialise with rescuing and rehoming gerbils but also help with other rodents when space allows.

We have worked with rescue animals for over 18 years. In this time we have worked with rescue dogs, cats, small pets and wildlife. After spending lots of time working with different rescues and fostering many small animals, we officially set up Gerbil and Rodent Rescue in January 2016. During this time we have built many relationships with other rescue centres and councils and regularly take in animals from other organisations. 

At Gerbil and Rodent Rescue we aim to find loving new homes for all our residents. If homes cannot be found, most animals will remain here with us. In some situations we may look into more specialised rescues to take certain types of animals. No animal is ever put to sleep due to space.

While animals are with us, we aim to provide them with the best care and best possible accommodation until a new home is found.
